so i had this debate where i was assigned to speak just because i posted a comment on the IVLE. screw those people who dictate what you gotta do. 2 mins? say what? so i was prepared to give something rather brief. then during the presentation, the girl before my turn talked for ultra long lor... and she would break for 3-4 sec in between her examples for what? give me the false impression that it's my turn? she had the gall to cover my topic (which was ASSIGNED to me in an email which she must have read) and then didn't even bother to say something like "i shall pass on to the next speaker". How can anyone like that be in 3rd/ 4th yr university? sheesh!
on a happier note, ate lunch w spinky n gzai today at Munchie. the calamari is very nice! i think it's better than fish n co's (whose standards, sadly, have fallen). Also completed 2 assignments! so i'm left with:
- finishing a letter explaining revisions to my essay
- writing a concluding paragraph to explain why animals should/should not be kept in zoos
- write a 1500 word essay on how p53 acts independent of transcriptional activity, i.e. directly on proteins.
- 1 page report on failure to obtain results in last last week's practical.
aiyah... didn't managed to get to use the emoticons that i kapoked from the ULTIMATE LIU SONG REN FAN. =P
oh yar... did i mention that i suspect that that irritating speech-stealing person may be the one who can live with squiggly lines all over her essay? (refer to previous post on perfume and COLON)
tomorrow got discussion again. then lunch... probably going to eat with the Lab people. then lecture... was thinking to go shop for shoes after class but i have tuition on wednesdays nowadays (instead of mondays). Eats into my AI4 time. OOH... 2hours of Amazing Race in <22hrs. What will the Survivors do next?
